Meet Charles.

Charles will conduct a thorough wellness assessment and then based on your needs, develop a very customized treatment plan that can stand alone or can be used in conjunction with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, near infrared light therapy and/or massage.

About acupuncture:

Several thousand years ago, East Asian practitioners discovered that the body experiences disharmony as a result of the various physical and mental stresses of life. Oriental medical theory explains these disharmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang. This imbalance disrupts the movement of the body’s vital energy (qi) along the meridian pathways, which are channels through which the body’s energy is thought to flow. Acupuncture restores the smooth flow of qi. By inserting and manipulating needles at specific points on the body, Charles is able to return the body to its natural balance and promote the body’s ability to heal itself.

How it feels:

Many people are afraid that acupuncture feels the same as getting a shot at the doctor’s office. It doesn’t! The needles used in acupuncture are hair-thin. The sensation differs depending upon the area of the body. The most common sensations are achey pressure or an electrical sensation moving through out the body.
